Association Membership is divided into two classes:

1. Active Membership

2. Associate Membership

Active Membership consists of those who, at the time of election to membership, are Wardens, Superintendents, Deputy Superintendents, Sheriff-Wardens, Commissioner, Deputy Commissioners, Central Office Directors of the Department of Corrections, Chief Deputy Wardens, Chief Deputy Sheriff-Wardens, Members of the Pennsylvania Board of Parole and Probation, and Central Office Directors of said Board, and any other persons recommended by the Executive Committee and passed by two-thirds of the active members present at Spring and Fall Symposiums.

To apply as an Active Member: Any person holding any of the positions stated above, desirous of becoming an Active Member of the Association shall file his application with the secretary, giving his name, position, and residence. The dues for Active Membership shall be fifty dollars ($50.00) payable annually at the beginning of the fiscal year*. All persons who have been Active Members, in good standing, may, after retirement from active duty, retain their membership by a continuance of the payment of annual dues, which shall be fifteen dollars ($15.00) per year.   For membership application contact:  This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Associate Membership shall consist of officials associated with law enforcement, correctional administration, or involved in community-based activities, which are related to the work of adult corrections.

To apply as an Associate Member: Application for Associate Membership must be sponsored by an Active Member of the Association. Upon receipt of applications, the Secretary shall review and make a recommendation to the President. The dues for Associate Membership shall be one hundred dollars ($100.00) payable annually at the beginning of the fiscal year*.   For membership application contact:  This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Honorary Membership may be accorded to those persons who are unanimously approved by the Executive Committee.

*The fiscal years of the Association will be from January first to December thirty-first, inclusive.
